The Dynasty Hardware 8500 Series Commercial Grade 1 Automatic Door Closer with Hold Open Arm is a high-quality door closer that is suitable for regular arm, top-jamb, or parallel arm installation. It is designed to be non-handed and can easily comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements, as well as ANSI classifications of grades 1, 2, and 3, along with UL standards.

This door closer features the same hole pattern as the Norton 8501 and 8301 door closers, making it a perfect replacement. It is non-sized and can be adjusted from size 1 through 6, with a factory preset size of 3. The hydraulic door closer comes with a back-check function and allows for adjustable closing and latching speeds through two regulating valves.

Moreover, the Dynasty Hardware 8500 Series Door Closer is tri-packed with wood screws, metal screws, and thru bolts for fire rated doors. It can accommodate door weights ranging from 40 to 240 pounds. Additionally, it is engineered with reduced spring power to provide easier opening for handicapped or elderly individuals.
