The Dynasty Hardware 8500 Series aluminum door closer is a high-quality closer that is non-handed for easy installation in regular arm, top-jamb, or parallel arm configurations. This door closer is designed to meet ADA requirements and ANSI classification grades 1, 2, and 3, as well as UL requirements.

It uses the same hole pattern as Norton 8501 and 8301 door closers, making it a perfect replacement. The non-sized door closer can be adjusted from size 1 to 6, with a factory preset of size 3. It comes with adjustable closing and latching speed via two separate regulating valves and a standard back-check function.

The Dynasty Hardware 8500 Series Door Closer is suitable for doors weighing between 40 to 240 pounds and is equipped with a barrier-free design to accommodate individuals with disabilities or the elderly.

With ANSI 156.4 Grade 1 certification and being UL listed for fire door assemblies, this door closer offers universal application and can be installed in various configurations. The screw hole spacing is 12 inches center to center horizontally and 3/4 inch vertically, making it a direct replacement for Norton 8301 and 8501 door closers as well as Yale 3301 and 3501 door closers.

This door closer features adjustable sweep and latch valves, allowing for customization of the closing and latching speeds. An allen wrench for adjustment is included for convenience. Additionally, the door closer is equipped with an adjustable back-check valve to control the resistance when opening the door past a certain point, providing added protection for walls and ensuring smooth operation.

The Dynasty Hardware 8500 Series Door Closer offers flexibility in mounting options, including regular arm, parallel arm, and top jamb configurations. Each unit comes with a parallel arm bracket and all necessary fasteners for installation.
